1. Compressor installation should be made only by "professional" workshops with proper qualifications,according to technical procedures for air-condition system repairs;
2. It is forbidden to make any changes in the compressor;
3. The fault which caused the old compressor's damage needs to be removed;
4. In many cases the problem with the air-condition system is not connected with the compressor, but with another part of the system. It should be found and removed;
5. The entire air-condition system should be cleaned with special fluid;
6. Receiver filter drier should always be replaced with a new one;
7. The compressor always has to be filled up with the new oil according to the OE specification.Please see the notice on the compressor.
8. The entire air condition system should be closed as quickly as possible;

According to Airstal inspection the old compressors are accepted only if they correspond to the product supplied.
They will not be credited if they are damaged in such a way that they can't be remanufactured and also in cases as mentioned below:

• The compressor can't be blocked;
• Compressor body and the pulley have to be free of mechanical damages;
• Connections with the air-condition system should be free of any mechanical damages.
• The pulley should be original to this type of compressor;
• Dismantled unit (also partly);
• Entirely rusted compressor;
• The core eligibility is limited to max. 12 months;
• The connections must be closed after removal from the vehicle to prevent internal corrosion.
• No copy products are accepted.

The warranty period for our compressors is 24 months from the invoice date.
Final decision in respect to the claim will be taken by Airstal;

Warranty is not valid:

1. If any repair is made by unqualified persons;
2. If any defect is a result of inexpert use;
3. If any defect is a result of the usage of incorrect tools, materials or spare parts;
4. If our instructions for the use of the products have not been accurately carried out;
5. If the special instructions, concerning air-condition system repairs have not been carried out;
6. If the compressor has been dismantled (also partly) by the customer.

1. A copy of Airstal's invoice should be attached to every claim;
2. The Airstal’s warranty claim form must be filled in;
3. A copy of the invoice for the air-condition system repair should be attached to every claim. Point 5 and 6 in the "Installation of the compressor" must be shown on the invoice;
4. To confirm our concern about the customer, every claim would be considered individually;
